I have the privilege of working with firms and people from many different areas of the country with extremely diverse backgrounds. I often get the question, “Would you refer me to a prospect? How do I advance my career?”

As you know most professional and personal experts say you have to get out of your comfort zone (often) to grow. In my view, I don’t think we get out of our comfort zones enough! Sometimes as CPA’s it seems we are “hard to move” (me included).
I also agree that it is extremely important for personal and professional growth that we force ourselves and get intentional/plan actions that put us OUT of our comfort zones.
